Welcome to the Advance Theatre Group
We run weekly Drama & Performance groups for children aged 4-12, focusing on developing youth confidence whilst learning performance skills such as physical theatre, improv, script work, acting workshops, plus much more! We provide a fun and relaxed approach to performance in a positive environment for children to shine! We believe through performance and theatre, crucial social skills are learnt for students to carry with them into the real world!
Thursday Evenings 5pm-6pm @ The Rhett Theatre - Redditch.

Who are we?
Sam and George work in multiple schools across Redditch and Bromsgrove, delivering high-quality teaching, coaching & sports sessions. Both come from a performance background and hold national diplomas in Performance Arts & Musical Theatre, and have performed in many productions across the midlands! In addition, each hold an enhanced DBS record, paediatric first aid & relevant safeguarding training. As the group has grown both Eve and Sean have joined the ATG family and their experience in theatre studies at Birmingham & Kingston Universities respectively has proved invaluable to the group.
What we do.
Our passion has always been in teaching, coaching and performance.
We have run numerous drama and theatre groups over the years operating mainly out of the Artrix theatre in Bromsgrove. Our aim is to make drama workshops in a theatre space available and affordable to every child, creating a fun and engaging environment for children to shine! Our classes will focus on acting, script work, physical theatre, creating and performing plays & much more!

We realise some may never go near a stage again once they have left school, but we guarantee they’ll exude charisma and confidence for the rest of their lives due to being taught drama.
